Lead Teacher and AI Researcher

Brian Drake is a PhD candidate in AI Education. His research explores causal AI for decision-making, with a particular focus on its applications in education.

Alongside his doctoral research, Drake serves as Lead Teacher at AICAMP and works as a Research Engineer with Barossa Eye Clinic. He is passionate about AI literacy, life sciences and developing innovative, responsible AI solutions to real-world challenges.

At AICAMP, Drake enjoys helping young people understand how AI works, think critically about its impacts and confidently create their own meaningful AI projects.

AI Educator and Technology Specialist

Kasia holds a Bachelor of Information Technology and has a strong interest in artificial intelligence, game development and creative technology. Her passion for STEM began at school, where she participated in an Oxbridge summer programme at Cambridge to study AI and travelled to the United States to attend Space Camp.

During university, Kasia initially studied Computer Science with a major in AI. Through this experience, she discovered a particular interest in applying AI across different disciplines. She now hopes to contribute to Adelaide’s independent game development sector by using AI to create more immersive and engaging experiences.

At AICAMP, Kasia encourages students to remain curious, embrace new opportunities and learn through hands-on exploration. Her advice to young learners is simple: say yes to opportunities—you never know where they may lead or what they might inspire you to discover.

AI Educator and Psychology 

With a strong interest in human behaviour and the ways technology shapes how people think, learn and interact, she brings a distinctive human-centred perspective to STEM and AI education.

As an educator at AICAMP, Jacqueline is passionate about inspiring young people to explore the subjects that excite them, remain curious and develop confidence in their own ideas. She encourages students to enjoy the learning process, work hard and build meaningful relationships with the people around them.

Her advice to young learners is to recognise the good in their lives, practise gratitude and remain true to themselves: never lose sight of who you are simply to please others.

Saanvi Gururaj is majoring in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. At AICAMP, Saanvi brings an engaging and supportive approach to the classroom, helping students explore coding, artificial intelligence and digital technologies through hands-on challenges, creative projects and collaborative problem-solving. She is passionate about helping children build both technical confidence and curiosity about the world around them.

Ishva is majoring in Computer Science, with interests in artificial intelligence, data and software development. At AICAMP, Ishva helps students explore how technology works through engaging, hands-on learning experiences. He is passionate about making AI, coding and digital innovation approachable for young learners, while encouraging curiosity, creativity and confidence in solving real-world problems.

Rae is a Master’s Student in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. With a love for programming and mathematics, I enjoy exploring how AI can transform data into smart, practical solutions that make life better. My professional background in human relations and natural passion for connecting with people, leads me to a human-centred perspective to technology. I’m particularly interested in applying AI solutions in the healthcare and education sectors to make a meaningful impact.

Cheyenne is majoring in Artificial Intelligence. She is representative in the  Women in STEM Society, AIML Club and Computer Science CShe is actively involved in the university’s technology community as a Student Representative in the School of Computer and Mathematical Sciences, as well as through the Women in STEM Careers Program, Women in STEM Society, AIML Club and Computer Science Club. At AICAMP, Cheyenne is passionate about making AI and digital technologies engaging and accessible, helping students build confidence, curiosity and creative problem-solving skills.lub.
