Afterschool Program Overview
Helping every child understand, create, and think with AI — safely, ethically, and creatively.
AI Camp offers a structured, year-long after-school program that introduces students year 1–9 to the foundations, applications, and future of artificial intelligence. Through hands-on activities, age-appropriate concepts, and creative projects, students develop genuine AI literacy — not just the ability to use tools. The program is organised into four themed terms (Term 1–4), which build on each other but can also be taken independently.
Each 1-hour session includes:
- Mini Lesson (Concept Exploration) 10–15 mins
Simple, visual explanations of foundational AI ideas
- Hands-on Activity 25–30 mins
Projects, experiments, creative tasks
- Reflection & Discussion 5 mins
Building critical and ethical thinking
- Showcase
Students share their creations and build confidence
Developed by AI researchers and educators, the program blends technology, art, design, ethics, and science, with differentiated pathways for different age groups.
